Megan understands that starting therapy can be a challenging process and selecting the right therapist for you is an essential part of effective therapy. Megan is intentional about offering a warm and non-judgemental space for individuals to share their concerns in a safe environment.
Megan will collaborate with you in your healing journey and tailor therapy in a way that makes sense to you. She practices using components from evidence-based approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Megan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Previously, she graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Sociology in 2022. Her educational background in sociology has equipped her to understand how social and cultural issues impact mental health in nuanced and complex ways.
Megan enjoys working with adolescents (10+ years) and adults suffering with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
