Yoel Yuhay

Client Care Coordinator and Clinical Administrator

Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakes.
– Carl Jung

As the Client Care Coordinator, Yoel is the first point of contact for administrative needs and inquiries related to intake, scheduling, and billing. His goal is to make your path into therapy as smooth as possible so that your focus remains on your well-being.
Yoel values empathy, understanding, and perspective-taking as core principles of active listening, and he applies these principles in his interactions with clients. He believes that self-reflection, combined with the right amount of patience, is the recipe for meaningful personal growth and well-being.
Yoel recognizes the importance of psychotherapy and is committed to addressing questions and concerns promptly, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the process.
Yoel earned his Honours Bachelor of Science with a Specialist Degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. He views his role at ACTion Psychotherapy as a valuable stepping stone toward his future career in Psychotherapy and Forensic Psychology.

Iris Belsey

Client Care Coordinator and Clinical Administrator

If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.
– Jack Kornfield

Iris is one of the pillars of ACTion Psychotherapy. As the Clinical Administrator, Iris manages the bulk of the administrative duties, including supporting you through the intake process, matching you with your therapist and providing clarification for scheduling and billing concerns. Her goal is to make your experience as seamless as possible and to ensure that the valuable time spent with your therapist is reserved for therapeutic concerns rather than administrative ones.

Iris firmly believes that compassion, support, and connection are at the forefront of psychological stability and well-being. She likes to reconnect with these values in her relationship with herself and others when experiencing her own distress.

Iris is passionate about mental health, which is why she strives to make the process for accessing treatment as straightforward as possible. She always makes herself available for clarification, questions, and assistance for your scheduling or billing concerns.

Iris obtained her Honours Bachelors of Arts with a Major in Psychology and Visual Arts from the University of Toronto. She values her position with ACTion Psychotherapy, as it is pivotal in her pathway towards a career as a future psychotherapist specializing in Art Therapy.
