Clarissa is one of our highly valued Client Care Coordinators and Clinical Administrators. She is here to ensure the clinic runs as smooth as possible and is responsible for assisting you with getting started with your therapist, addressing any billing and scheduling inquiries and supporting the team. Her goal is to make your experience as seamless as possible and to ensure that the valuable time spent with your therapist is reserved for therapeutic concerns rather than administrative ones.
Clarissa’s passion for mental health and warm presence contributes to her providing a positive experience for clients and the team. She believes compassion, connection, and autonomy and collaboration are vital in maintaining psychological stability and well-being. Through personal and professional experiences, Clarissa understands the positive impact these values can bring into one’s life and practices them accordingly when assisting you with your administrative needs.

Iris Belsey
Client Care Coordinator and Clinical Administrator

Iris is one of the pillars of ACTion Psychotherapy. As the Clinical Administrator, Iris manages the bulk of the administrative duties, including supporting you through the intake process, matching you with your therapist and providing clarification for scheduling and billing concerns. Her goal is to make your experience as seamless as possible and to ensure that the valuable time spent with your therapist is reserved for therapeutic concerns rather than administrative ones.
Iris firmly believes that compassion, support, and connection are at the forefront of psychological stability and well-being. She likes to reconnect with these values in her relationship with herself and others when experiencing her own distress.
Iris is passionate about mental health, which is why she strives to make the process for accessing treatment as straightforward as possible. She always makes herself available for clarification, questions, and assistance for your scheduling or billing concerns.
Iris obtained her Honours Bachelors of Arts with a Major in Psychology and Visual Arts from the University of Toronto. She values her position with ACTion Psychotherapy, as it is pivotal in her pathway towards a career as a future psychotherapist specializing in Art Therapy.

Zero Tolerance Policy
ACTion Psychotherapy is committed to providing a safe, secure and respectful environment for all clients and staff.
Words or actions that make others feel threatened or demeaned will not be tolerated and decisive action will be taken to protect clients and staff.
Immediate action will be taken when incidents described below occur.
Individual(s) may be asked to leave, the police may be called or the individual(s) may face dismissal from our practice.
Disruptive Behaviour:
ACTion Psychotherapy considers the use of inappropriate words, actions or inactions as disruptive behaviour.
Inappropriate Actions/Inactions:
- Violence (physical attacks or threats of harm)
- Intimidation
- Throwing, damaging property or breaking things
- Unwelcome physical contact
- Failure to observe policies and/or contracts (i.e. payment of fees)
- Refusing to leave the property
Inappropriate Words (in person, by phone, or any means of communication):
- Abusive language and yelling
- Disrespectful or demeaning language/comments
- Remarks, jokes or innuendos that degrade, ridicule or offend
- Discriminatory remarks
- Threats or threatening behaviour
- Bullying
- Sexual Harassment
